We carry out Required Safe Egress Time (RSET) analysis using both
simplified methodologies (PD 7974-6) and detailed computer simulations.

(RSET). For smaller and typical buildings simplified analysis can be performed
using methodologies described in codes and design guides (e.g. PD 7974-6). For
large complex geometries such as shopping centres, sports stadia, high-rise buildings
railway stations etc. we carry out
detailed computer simulations. The simulations are performed using specialist evacuation
software called Pathfinder.
